How You Can Help

Step One:

Join the DEC. Becoming a member of the local governing body is the most efficient way of building the Democratic presence in Hernando County. There is strength in numbers; the more Democrats we have involved in the decision-making process, the more representative and effective we will be. Click here to join.

Step Two:

Get involved in your precinct and area. Getting local makes our goal of winning elections and strengthening our base that much easier. Local politics affect you and your family directly; establishing a lasting Democratic presence locally is the solution to many of the dilemmas facing each of us. We will provide you with the tools and opportunities to get more involved in events such as precinct walks and phone banking. In turn, please keep us informed of issues evolving in your city or area. Click here to find your precinct.

Volunteer to help out! Lend your talents and skills. Click here to submit our volunteer form.

Step Three:

Donate.  Your contribution today will bring support for local Democratic candidates and issues to the forefront -- where they should be. And, in the process, we will build an infrastructure that will be ready for the Fall of 2006 and beyond. Please give what you can. Every dollar will be put to good use in promoting Democratic ideals. Click here to donate now.
